Improved Magic Resistance applies to all incoming spells that would normally be affected by this.

Counter resistance makes it more difficult to target you with a magical spell, the amount of CR present cancels out success rolls of the caster, meaning they need to roll more successes to make the spell target you. Eg if you had CR1, then a normal spell will require 3 successes to target you.

Target Insurance makes you harder to target using TFs. Where-ever you are added as a target using TFs (so you were not the primary target) the caster must spend an extra Link (+1 TF) cost to include you or you are left off the target list (even if you are in the same group as others).
