For the first month of the first semester, we learned a piece called, When it Rains it Pours, by Bonnie Goodrich. This piece is very unique because of the new technique we learned called tuning key slides that sounds similar to a raindrop. I love this piece because of calmness and nostalgic of the music because I love the rain.

This piece, Fiesta is another ensemble piece that was fun to play because of the alternating rhythms. Fiesta is by Gail Barber. I really enjoyed learning and playing this song because it was upbeat and had twisty rhythms that were constantly opposite with different measures.
