4.2 In-Class
Finding OER
Evaluating OER using established criteria
In this session, you will continue to search for OER. In the at-home lesson, you learned about open textbooks, open course materials, open videos, and open images. Use the OER search platforms and repositories to locate relevant resources.
While the focus of this workshop is on finding OER to replace costly commercial course materials, it is important to remember that the overall course design process begins with your Student Learning Outcomes. We recommend that you have your course syllabus on-hand as you search for OER.
Activity 1: Finding OER

Suggested OER sites to use include:
Your facilitators will be on hand to assist you in the search process.

Rename the document with the title of the OER and the name of the collection or repository where you discovered it.
