Find OER
What is OER?
Open Educational Resources (OER) are no-cost or low-cost online learning materials which can be reused, revised, remixed, redistributed, and retained. The OER LibGuide was developed by the Leeward CC Library to serve as a guide for faculty to quickly find representative examples of OER by subject and to locate OER collections and repositories for further investigation.
Finding OER to use in your course
Librarians can help faculty identify OER in a subject or discipline. Go to the Book a Librarian page to schedule an appointment. Choose librarians Junie Hayashi or Wayde Oshiro for OER support. You can also contact them by phone or email:
Junie Hayashi, email: junie@hawaii.edu, phone: 808-455-0680
Wayde Oshiro, email: waydeo@hawaii.edu, phone: 808-455-0378
See the Leeward OER LibGuide for curated resources in select subject areas.
Printing instructor review copies of OER
If you wish to review a print copy of OER, please contact the Copy Center at lccdup@hawaii.edu. The printing costs for a single copy of an OER will be supported by the Library.
