Hello! My name is Julie Krings and I am so excited to be your child's specials area teacher this year! I will be teaching your child in the areas of physical education, art, music, library, and social/emotional learning -I will be calling this our "friendship" class. I have a strong passion and love of learning through music and movement and cannot wait to get this school year under way! I have been teaching in the Byron School District since 2001.
I graduated from high school in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. I then obtained my Elementary Education degree from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. I later received my Kindergarten License from the University of Mankato in 2008.
I married my high school sweetheart in 1989 and we moved to Byron in 1995. My husband, Brian, and I have four children. Tyler (28), Kyle (26), Allie (24), and Mark (22).
I spend my free time with family, friends, and attending many sporting events! Of course, being from Wisconsin, I am a big Green Bay Packer fan. I also love cheering on the Byron Bears!
