I was taught Pear Deck this week in lecture. I was shown how to mess around and figure this out myself. Pear Deck is a extension that you can add on to presentations to make it more interactive with the students. Mr. Holman showed us how to learn it from the students prospective before we learned the teachers prospective. I think this very important to do with up coming teachers because we need to see the student side before we can prefect the teachers side of things. If we can't even do the things we are asking as teachers, then how do we expect our student to it? Pear Deck is this amazing tool that really makes learning fun. As a teacher, we can get our students actually be engage in the lesson because they have to actively participate. In Pear Deck, you can draw, move things around, students can respond to questions and the class can see anoymous answers. There are lots of things you use on Pear Deck to track student progress. I will absolutely incorperate this tool into my class as a teacher. I takes lecturing and puts a twist on it.
