Choosing where to live in New York City, especially for the first time, can feel like a daunting task.
This short guide should serve as a strong starting point as you begin your search for housing!
If you are moving to NYC for the first time, chances are you will be utilizing the transportation offerings provided by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, commonly known as the MTA. When considering housing, take note of your Zeta commute to ensure that you have a sustainable way to get to work!
While the above resources will help to familiarize yourself with the MTA system, feel free to use your go-to GPS (Google Maps, etc.) to determine what your commute might look like! These will provide you with specific, step-by-step instructions on how to get to your destination, including subway or bus stops to use, which direction you should head, and what signs to follow.
