Being born and raised in the South Bronx, Ana Martinez was inspired to advocate for a world-class education and break the barriers for the next generations to come. Ana began her work in education in 2014 when she joined Success Academy Charter Schools. There, she taught first through fourth grades excelling for various years earning the New York State Senate and Assembly Certificate of Merit. As a fourth grade teacher, 96% of Ms. Martinez's students passed the ELA New York state test and 100% passed the Math New York State Test. After serving as an ICT homeroom teacher and Grade Team Lead for various years, Ms. Martinez felt deeply about impacting the greater community and joined Zeta’s Leadership Team in 2019. Ms. Martinez earned her B.A from SUNY Binghamton where she majored in Psychology and Latin American and Caribbean studies. Receiving her Masters in General and Special Education from Touro College, Ms. Martinez prides herself in being an innovator in her field.

Amenata Magiraga is a Bronx native and spent a significant chunk of her childhood growing up in Harlem. She enjoyed playing teacher with her siblings as a child, so it’s no surprise to anyone that knows her that today, she is an educator! Ms. Magiraga graduated from SUNY College of Old Westbury and worked at Success Academy Charter Schools for five years. She has taught ELA and History to 5-7th graders and served as a Grade Team Lead for two years. She most recently was an Assistant Principal. She loves being a school leader because of the opportunity to cultivate a culture and community where everyone knows and supports one another.
Andrew Noe is passionate about developing teachers to help ensure students are learning, growing, and thriving. Mr. Noe has been a Principal at Zeta since 2021. Prior to working at Zeta, Mr. Noe was the founding science teacher at Success Academy before moving into a curriculum and instructional design role at Uncommon Schools. While at Uncommon, Mr. Noe managed and coached teachers to deliver for students while creating the curriculum for Uncommon’s Brooklyn network of schools. He holds a B.S. in Biology Teacher Education and an M.A. in Educational Psychology.

Kiwana Evans was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Upon graduating from Benjamin Banneker Academy as Valedictorian, she answered her life-long call to work in the field of education. She is a first-generation college graduate in her family. Realizing that often students are judged by their zip codes, she is conscientious in ensuring that all students are provided every opportunity to excel and to meet their maximum potential. Dr. Evans began her journey in education in 2001. She has taught 1st through 5th grade, always providing opportunities for her students to soar academically, and become well-rounded global citizens. She is the recipient of numerous awards to include, but certainly not limited to, Teacher of the Year, Who’s Who in Teachers, R.E.B. Distinguished Educational Award, Title I School Awards, and Performance Index Award and National Recognition. After much encouragement from her mentors, she answered the call to pursue educational leadership opportunities. She served in the capacity of Title I Math Teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal. Dr. Evans earned her B.S. from Virginia Union University in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in History and Political Science and two Masters in Education from Virginia State University in Elementary Education and Educational Leadership. Desiring a terminal degree in education and being a lifelong learner, she earned her Doctorate of Education from Argosy University. During her leisure time, she enjoys traveling, loves spending time with her family, and organizes and participates in community-based activities helping to further develop and support others. Dr. Evans serves as a mentor and role model to both students and adults.

Noreen Cooke Coleman started her career in education in 2010 at Success Academy Charter School. During her time at Success Academy Charter School, she taught Kindergarten and First grade. She became a Dean of Students from 2014-2016 and was promoted to Assistant Principal from 2016-2021. Mrs. Cooke Coleman led her Kindergarten and First-grade teams to the top five in the network with F&P and literacy components. She created strong partnerships between the school and families. Mrs. Cooke Coleman has her B.A in African and Latino Studies from Hunter College of New York and an M.A in Early Childhood from Touro College. When Mrs. Cooke Coleman is not working, she is home with her three daughters and husband enjoying life and quality time spent together.
