The first step to ensuring you can begin work at Zeta is completing all mandatory onboarding tasks. Please read this checklist before exploring the rest of the site and complete all items by the assigned deadlines.
Zeta teachers must be NY State certified. Please check for information on how to enroll in graduate school and become certified.

Your first day of SZU is dependent on your role. If you have any questions, please refer to the start date listed on your offer letter.
July 12th - New School Leaders (Principals, Assistant Principals, Resident Assistant Principals)
July 24th - New Teachers, School Psychologists, Student Achievement Team
Note that start dates for new School-based Operations Teammates and new Network staff will vary by position. Please reach out to your manager.

*Please plan to arrive early as there could be unexpected delays and traffic in your commute. Check-in begins at 7:30!

Meals: Breakfast will be provided on Monday 7/24. Lunch will be provided on Monday 7/24 and Wednesday 7/26.

We know you are excited to hear about your new school! You will receive an email notifying you of your school placement. This message will provide more details surrounding your school's location, grades, and Principal!
As a reminder, our team uses the location preferences listed during the application process to aid in determining school placements while ensuring we meet the needs of our individual school communities.
All Other School Employees:
Your direct manager will reach out to you prior to your start date to confirm your school placement. As a reminder, our team uses the location preferences listed during the application process to aid in determining school placements.
Network Employees:
All Network employees will sit in the new Zeta Inwood Elementary School location at 400 West 219th St. New York, NY 10034.
