Christmas Band

The Yough band students brought some festive holiday cheer to the stage for an evening, filling the auditorium with 4 beautiful melodies, including  Into the Clouds, Pacem Noel, Green Sleeves, and wrapping up the performance with Sleigh Ride. Band director Mrs. Chemay quoted, “  Overall, I think the band did really well, especially because I didn't get to practice with them for the months before. We only got to practice once together before the concert, and the students came together and put on a great performance.” “I think we played some changing songs, and everyone tried their best.” The concert showed the students' hard work and musical growth, and the audience enjoyed it.

Christmas Choir

On December 3, 2025, the YHS concert choir and chamber choir performed at the winter concert. Songs performed by the concert choir include We Need a Little Christmas, Ding Dong! Merrily On High!, The Little Drummer Boy, and White Winter Hymnal. The chamber choir performed Done Nobis Pacem, Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming, Deck the Hall, Green Grow the Rushes, O, Fair Phyllis, Personent Hodie, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. Amazing job from all these singers, and a huge thanks to Mr. Ritz for his hard work!
