Tracking Trash

A little while ago Eighth graders read a book called Tracking Trash.

The book Tracking Trash by Loree Griffen Burns is mainly about a man named Curt Ebbesmeyer and how he joined the oceanic world. It tells you about how Curt first found out about a big amount of garbage that fell from a cargo ship while delivering goods. He had started finding sneakers and learning about the spills finding his way through beachcombers. They were tracking the spill as well as cleaning it up all the while Curt was there he got more intrigued, and he ended up going on to other spills making a program with another coworker of his.
