We aim to make our events accessible to everyone who wishes to participate. If you have specific access or dietary needs, please let us know when you sign up for the event. We generally try to schedule events in core hours (9.30am - 4.30pm). For in-person meetings we will usually either offer hybrid attendance or record talks to enable remote participation. 

We won't always get things right, so please let us know (yorvoice-project@york.ac.uk) if there is something we've missed!

Venue accessibility information

We often hold events in the Berrick Saul Treehouse. Directions to the room and photos of the inside are available on the University of York website. There is also an AccessAble guide to the Treehouse and an AccessAble guide to the Berrick Saul building, including information on toilets and more photos of the building interiors. 

Please note: the lift in the Berrick Saul building will be unavailable for three months from Wednesday 29 November 2023 until Thursday 29 February 2024 to allow for essential work involving the full replacement of the lift.

When we hold events in other locations, we will send out a map and accessibility information beforehand.
