YorVoice is a vehicle for growth of voice research at York:

• Co-ordinated plan to build community and resources

• Building national and international reputation

• Career development (supporting the next generation of voice researchers)

• Building non-academic partnerships

Expanding the profile of voice research at York will allow us to:

• Develop of a range of projects out of YorVoice (through structured writing sessions, peer review)

• Broaden range of possible funding opportunities (in terms of both funders and schemes)

• Develop specific large-scale funding bid (e.g. Centre funding)
