Venue

The workshop will take place in the Ron Cooke Hub on the East Campus of the University of York. The talks will be held in room RCH/037, located on the ground floor, and coffee breaks will be served in the atrium within the same building.

The Ron Cooke Hub is located on Campus East of the University of York. Campus East can easily be reached from York city centre by bus (routes U1 or U2 to the stop “Campus East Interchange”) or on foot (approximately a 50-minute walk).

Lunch and dinner

Piazza building, University of York

Lunch is available at Campus East canteen in the Piazza Building, approximately a five-minute walk from the Ian Wand Building. The menu includes vegetarian and vegan options each day, with main dishes typically priced between £5 and £9.

For dinner, the centre of York offers a wide range of pubs and restaurants.

Accessibility and Other Facilities

Prayer and quiet rooms are available in the Ron Cooke Hub. Lactation facilities can also be arranged. Participants with specific requirements, accessibility needs, or who may require childcare during the workshop are warmly invited to contact the organisers in advance to discuss possible options.
