To attend Evolang 2026, please complete the Evolang 2026 registration form.
Participation in the conference and workshops is covered by one registration fee: for rates, see the bottom of this page. As usual for EVOLANG, there will be no workshop-only registration. The form also collects the necessary information to arrange a visa invitation letter for those who need it.
A concession registration rate is offered to participants who are students, emeritus academics, retired or from a low or lower-middle income country as defined by the World Bank (download a full list). The registration form allows for personalised requests for a concession rate, which will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
We expect to be able to offer a number of partial fee waivers to early career researchers, undergraduate students, and residents of countries with low and lower-middle income, as well as those without an established presence at EVOLANG. To apply for these, please email us at evolang2026+fee-reduction-request@gmail.com with a (1) letter from your institution specifying what level of support they will provide (incl. none), and (2) a tentative travel budget (cost of travel, accommodation, visa fees, registration fees, subsistence)? For the latter, do take into account that tea/coffee breaks and lunches will be provided on 8-10 April.
Please note that conference registration and payment do not automatically entail the issuance of a visa support or invitation letter. Visa support letters are issued separately and only to participants who meet the conference’s eligibility criteria (such as presenters, invited participants, or attendees with a clearly documented professional reason for attending).
If you intend to request a visa support letter, and you are not presenting or clearly involved in relevant research, we may therefore ask you first to provide a brief statement outlining:
your professional background and current role, and
your reason for attending the conference, including how it relates to your work or research interests.
Once we have this information, we will be able to advise whether a visa support letter can be considered in line with conference policy.
