Tables

Each table shall have an identifier and a title. The identifier shall precede the title. Numbering of each identifier should be aligned with the chapter that they appear in, such as Table 2.1 to indicate that this is the first table in Chapter 2.

The title shall describe the content of the table. If a table occupies more than one page, the title and numbering should be on each page.

The character size used in tables should be large enough to allow the table to be reproduced without risk to legibility. The presentation of a series of tables shall be consistent in character size, use of space and other typographic treatment.

Ensure that presented tables are cited and discussed in the main text.Â
