For fun we created a digital performance in the Library foyer that students could participate in. The aim was to evangelise our "learn to code" sessions and the imminent Digital Creativity Week. This was a performance of The Twelve Days of Christmas.
The components of the performance were :
- an animated using a mobile app that played a section of the song when you shook your phone
- a "song sheet" animation on a big screen
- Augmented Reality trigger images on the wrapped Christmas presents.
Above are the trigger images that were on the presents below which played sound effects to complement the audio that was being played by people using the mobile shake-to-play app (above).
