Education Partnership with Faulkner University

At the Greater Birmingham YMCA, we value your professional development and growth. That's why we've established a strategic partnership with Faulkner University, a renowned institution committed to providing quality education for working professionals.

Benefits:

All Employees- Full-time and Part-time:

• 50% tuition discount in eligible programs.

• Option to designate up to two individuals for a 50% tuition discount.

Employee's Children:

• 50% tuition discount for eligible adult undergraduate and graduate programs.

• Scholarship/grant award of at least $10,000 per academic year for Faulkner’s on-ground traditional program at the Montgomery campus.

Guidelines:

• Available to all employees of the Greater Birmingham YMCA.

• 50% tuition discount applies to most programs (see exclusions).

• Admission requirements and satisfactory academic progress must be maintained.

• Continuous enrollment until completion of the degree.

• Offer valid for new students only.

• Cannot be combined with other Faulkner-based discounts but can be used with state or federal financial aid.

• Standard fees apply.

• Requires a letter from the employer on letterhead verifying full-time employment.

• Exclusions:

• Excludes certain programs (Faulkner Law, Master of Arts/Science in Speech Language Pathology, etc. - see full list).

• Scholarships for employee's children apply only to traditional students on the Montgomery campus.
