About
Coding in Minecraft is a coding curriculum delivered through Minecraft: Education Edition. It was developed by global EdTech business Prodigy Learning in 2019, and has been received quite well since then. Great for both middle and high school students, portal graded asynchronous or synchronous.
Once students in a class have been assigned a unit, they then open files from the Coding in Minecraft website portal and begin Coding in Minecraft! To submit their work, students export their code as a file and upload it to the website portal where it's graded on completion. Tests and exams are completed in the portal and automatically graded.
The programming languages available in Coding in Minecraft are MakeCode, Python, and Javascript.
