Calculating rank points
Our local autonomous universities will select you based on your grades in:
• General Paper (GP)
• Project Work (PW)
• Best four content-based subjects (i.e. 3 H2 and 1 H1 content-based subjects, of which one must be a contrasting subject)
The maximum points for H2 and H1 subjects are 20 and 10 respectively. This means that the maximum rank points is 90 (20 + 20 + 20 + 10 + 10 + 10).
MTL may be included in the computation of the University Score. The total will then be re-based. The better of the two scores (i.e. with and without MTL) will be the University Score of the candidate.
