Yn Ysgol Gymraeg Melin Gruffydd, credwn bod asesu effeithiol yn rhan allweddol o ddysgu ac addysgu rhagorol. Rydyn ni'n rhoi adborth rheolaidd i blant ar eu dysgu fel eu bod nhw'n deall beth maen nhw wedi'i gyflawni a beth sydd angen iddyn nhw ei wneud yn well. Mae hyn yn ein galluogi i seilio ein cynlluniau gwersi ar wybodaeth fanwl am bob disgybl.
O ganlyniad i ddyfodiad Cwricwlwm i Gymru, credwn bod mwy o gyfleoedd i asesu a rhoi adborth llafar i’n disgyblion ynghyd â chynnal trafodaethau mwy manwl gyda nhw yn unigol am eu cynnydd.

At Ysgol Gymraeg Melin Gruffydd, we believe that effective assessment is a key part of excellent teaching and learning. We give children regular feedback on their learning so that they understand what they have achieved and what they need to do to improve. This enables us to base our lesson plans on detailed information about each pupil.
As a result of the introduction of Curriculum for Wales, we believe that there are more opportunities to assess and provide oral feedback to our pupils as well as undertaking more detailed discussions with them individually about their progress.
