Behaviour Resource Support
Teresa Gioia is the Behaviour Resource Support worker on staff at St. Augustine CHS. She is available to provide direct support students, typically on a referral basis, by either the Principal or Vice Principal.
A BRS worker:
- provides students with coping strategies
- counsels students regarding socially-appropriate behaviour
- communicates with parents
- liaises with various community agencies
- consults with Administration and various other school staff
