IEP Development

Development of the IEP:

Collaborate in the IEP process
Provide diagnostic assessments, as appropriate, to determine student strengths and needs, if required
Generate ideas and suggestions for program modification or accommodation
Provide advice about materials and resources
Provide supports to the student’s classroom/subject teacher(s) as appropriate
Plan and carry out instructional programs for the student
In collaboration with the classroom/subject teacher(s), develop strategies for assessing and communicating the student’s progress and
Maintain ongoing communication with the students parents and other teachers
