PLEASE NOTE THAT AS OF SEPTEMBER 2023 the following conditions on activities NO longer apply as appropriate COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS:
Takes place during the time allotted for the instructional program on a school day;
Consists of duties performed in the home (e.g., walking a younger child to and from school, helping younger siblings with schoolwork, and after-school care);
Would normally be performed for wages by a person in the workplace (10 hours from paid employment).
