When complex circumstances surround the death of a community member, extra care must be taken in planning an appropriate response. School Administrators will consult with the Board’s Crisis Response Manual, Senior Administration and the Mental Health Team in order to determine what additional supports may be needed.

As a Catholic community, we turn to our faith to support and sustain us through these challenging times. Our focus is not on the circumstances surrounding the death but on mourning the loss of the member of the community and supporting the bereaved.
