When a community member dies, there is often a desire to ensure that they will be remembered. Even in the first hours after the news is shared, people may begin planning a way to memorialize the individual who has died.
Those in leadership are faced with the sometimes difficult task of slowing down this process so that the immediate needs of the school community can be the focus.
