OUR PROGRAM:
Dramatic Arts provides imaginative and creative stimulation that allows students to think divergently. Through dramatic forms, elements, conventions, and techniques, students develop the acquired skills to confidently express themselves with intention and purpose. From tableau to mime and scene study, students will learn how to problem solve and become effective leaders both onstage and in life.
In our grade 9 and 10 programs - students develop confidence to use their voice and communicate their message in a variety of ways, both in large and small groups.
In grade 11 and 12, students begin to build upon their drama skills - exploring not only acting, but directing, design - as well as learning to become leaders in their arts community. Senior drama students run outreach drama programs/ workshops and work towards a major school production/ play, taking on all aspects of a show - both on and off stage.
