I think what inspires me to take photos is the way they can capture so much emotion in just one frame. It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. During my trip to Japan this summer, I definitely saw the true meaning of that. The photos I took during that time I can look back and reminisce upon.  A photo can help capture the memory of an important moment in your life, and you will never forget that.

I signed up for Photo 1 because I realized how important photography is for so many jobs. Even if I choose not to go into a field that requires knowledge about photography, it is nice to know how to take good photos. I hope that I can learn the fundamentals and more on how to take good photos. I also hope to see my progress in photography as the semester goes on.

I think that I handle feedback, especially on my art, very well. I think that I will be able to adapt to the feedback given by peers and teachers. I think that this will help grow my skills in photography and develop my eye for art and symbolism in art.
