For me, I definitely achieved my goal of photographing nature. In this class, I have many opportunities to go outside and explore some shots I could take.  For example, in our framing assignment, I was able to venture to Sandy Point Beach and photograph some snowy scenes! I had a great time spending time outside and on nature walks! Something that did not go to plan that I wanted to learn about was where lighting should be in a portrait of a person. As I had said before, my mom always stresses the lighting in a photo, so I would still like to learn about that in the future. 

Something that inspires me to photograph is nature. I love being outside and in fresh air and I find myself with great peace when I am outside. I like to take pictures of nature-like things when I am outside, and after I like to look back at them to see what I had discovered during that day. My favorite thing to photograph is the sun in all different ways including, sunsets, sunrises, and when it is hitting the water and sparkling.  Something I hope to learn/improve on is the importance of lighting in a picture. My mom aways stresses the lighting when taking a family picture and I never really understood why, so that is why I want to learn about it.
