Purpose:
To learn to see the world in a different way;
To practice the compositional strategy: Unusual Perspectives.
I was skiing at Sugarloaf on white nitro over February break and a few turns down I looked up and thought that with how steep the pitch of the trail was, in addition to the sun and the tower at the summit it would be a really neat photo and work for this assignment as well. I think that the granular marbeling of the snow also added an interesting detail to the photo.
It was the last run of the day at Sunday River around 4 PM on the Barker 6 lift, and I thought that with the 0.5x lense on my phone that it would make the chairlift look really sick.
I was leaving the gym and I saw the full moon and thought that it would look cool with the street light from below. I also liked how the clouds were sort of lit up by the moon and it sort of mirrored how the street light was emitting a sort of haze on the air.
