Prompt: In this project, I learned how to use gradients and differing colors to show form and shadows. I think this has a big impact on my learning and overall art skills, because it is a valuable skill that applies to almost every piece that I might do in the future. For example, the top of the pancake has three subtle color changes. This is not readily noticed, but adds a lot of depth and interest to the piece that would otherwise have been lacking in a more 2-dimensional artwork.
