Stoneware, 3in x 3in x 3in
Purpose:: Use a 3” x 3” post-it as a template to create a multiple-sided, lidded box out of slabs. Tie together the different sides and lid of the box with connected shapes.
Reflection:
I combined the idea of cookies and a cookie jar on my box. All of my sides tied together with a background of little cookies and one big one on all the sides except for the side that says cookie jar. I think that the small differences in the patterns, and the cookie jar carving will make people want to look at all the sides. I like my box but I think it could have been better. I like the handle on the top and the cool pattern on the inside. I don’t love how the glaze turned out. I think if I were doing it again I would have glazed it more carefully or used an underglaze for the chocolate chips instead.
