All club and after-school activities will be held after school. They will need to follow either of the following timeframes:
Begin directly after school (2:15), and students leave YHS premises once their activity is completed, or
Students leave YHS campus after school, and then return for the club activity which may not begin prior to 4 pm. In this case, students will NOT be allowed to wait at school until their club activity begins.
If club advisors would like to set up a club meeting/event during the school day or on weekends, it must be approved by administration.
Students must be under the direct supervision of a YSD staff member or YSD approved volunteer.
Whenever possible, meetings should be accessible to remote students.
Staff may use classrooms or other areas of the building for activities.
No club activity may involve more than 50 people indoors, or 100 people outdoors.
A facilities request form must be completed by the club advisor.
Daily attendance must be recorded for any in-person meeting or activity by the club advisor. Club advisors are responsible for sending club members a Self-Check Health Questionnaire (make a copy) prior to any club activities; any club members who wish to participate in activities must complete this form by noon the day of the activity; Jenn McNally should be added as a collaborator to your club’s responses (she will help review).
Club Attendance must be turned in to Jennifer McNally no later than 8 am the next day.
