At the start of the process I made a simple sketch of the landscape so I could import it into photoshop. After I had my sketch I blocked off the major sections of color. Once I had all the sections filled in I start from the background to the foreground, beginning with the sky. Whenever I started a new section I would begin with basic shape and continued by adding lots of details.
While doing this project I learned that in a landscape you need a clear foreground, middleground, and background. I also learned that when working on the landscape you should first block out areas then add basic shapes and end by adding the final details.
