Mindful Photography

While I was walking around on Bar Island, I saw these strange looking ruins. I tried to research them but I couldn't find any information anywhere on them. But it looks really cool.

Heart rocks mean a lot to me, my grandmother loves heart rocks and usually we'd bring them back to her. But now we've filled a whole garden with them, so I photograph them to send to her!

At the same spot as Forest Ruins I saw this plant growing along one of the walls. The 5 leaf/petal pattern (Didn't touch it because I didn't recognize it) reminded me of a star. It's like a little hidden gem within the ruins and the walk!

The name of this photo is a little strange, but plants get their food from the sun, and the light on these leaves are beautiful. I also love this type of plant (Rhododendrons) because my grandmother has a bunch of them in her yard and always brings the flowers in during summer meals.

I really liked this photo because the colors made it seem like it was only that clump out of the whole tree that was turning red. It reminded me of the sun patterns on the ground at home that will highlight certain spots.

I really liked the amber colors of these leaves with the lighter greens in the back giving it a nice contrast. I think the colors of these leaves are beautiful due to the sun's light hitting them just right.

I thought this was a cool perspective because the grasshopper is sitting on the bulb of the flower like it's a throne. I really like how it pops because the brown of the grasshopper is very different from the pink of the flowers.

It took me a while to name this one, I couldn't find a good name that I really enjoyed. I liked that it has all the parts of a forest, just pulled apart, like the pine cones, the branch, pine needles and leaves. I really like the lighting and color of this picture.

I really liked the lighting on the berries and the simplified background. I also like the contrast due to the complementary colors. The focus of the three berries is nice and calming, it almost gives me a Green Christmas feel.
