Purpose: To think about and understand your personal identity better. To communicate your identity to others using objects. To create a well-balanced composition, keep lighting, color schemes, perspective, staging, and balance in mind.
For this one I added a bunch of objects that are important to me. I added my graduation pins from Space Camp and Aviation Challenge. I also added my Mythology book, a Nikon lens, my swimming beanie, an axolotl, and my small space shuttle. The image of the Milky Way is on top of Cadillac in Acadia which is special to my family.
I tried to create one with a less diverse selection from what I did. So I made this photo more Star Wars based. I got a few Lego spaceships (stolen from my brother), and then my rising phoenix symbol (which I made), my droid, and lightsaber. I used a penlight for the spotlight effect.
I made this one very similar to the other one, but I added a few comic books from a shopping trip with a friend. These comics books go deeper into backstories of the Mandalorian and Kanan Jarrus. Once again I used the penlight to create a sharp light towards the center. Also the star destroyer's command center in the shadows is quite symbolic of the movies.
