Yes, I did achieve my goals of being able to see the world through the eyes of a photographer. Also, I was able to learn the technical aspects of photography, as well as the basic rules and principles needed for taking effective, thoughtful, and meaningful photos. In the end, my biggest improvement and new development was the increased confidence I have when taking pictures, and even showing and explaining my thought process to the class. Which is an essential skill for success in a future artistic career or any career involving me creating something and then showcasing my work.
(January) GOALS
Action sports shots and scenic nature shots inspire me to take photographs. It's very cool knowing you have the ability to capture hundreds of things in one single frame, within seconds. What I hope to get better at, and learn is the technicalities of photography. For example, framing, exposure, etc. Overall, I mostly want to be confident with my photography skills, be able to capture moments daily, and have people be able to see the world from my perspective.
