This year students will:
− Develop basic skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing
− Become familiar with Spanish speaking places and their culture
- Discover that learning another language can be fun!
Homework: Students will receive practice assignments in Languagenut which they joined the 1st week of school. Students should practice their weekly listening, speaking, reading & writing for 15 minutes outside of class time every Monday-Thursday (or roughly 60 minutes a week outside of class time). They can do any activities they would like during this time.
Assignments:
Students are encouraged to be responsible for their work in class. This includes if they miss class time for whatever reason, they should go to our weekly agenda on our Google Classroom to see what they missed. The expectation is that they learn to do this without being reminded. If students are in school but miss class, they are responsible for the homework and assessments. If an assignment is not completed on time, students may be asked to stay after school.
