Welcome to Ms. Utz's Homepage!

 ​Welcome! Learning to speak another language can be so much fun! I look forward to sharing that experience with your children. A little bit about me: I have taught in Mexico, France, Italy, Boston, as well as several places in Maine.  I have 2 children. My daughter graduated from Northwestern University last year, and recently completed her Master's in Public Health at Northwestern's Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. She is employed as a Project Manager with Epic Software based in Madison, Wisconsin. My son is a biology major with a minor in Japanese at DePaul University in Chicago. He recently completed a study abroad program in Tokyo and while in Japan spent time in Osaka where he was able to spend a day at the World Expo 2025 site. The theme this year is: Our Future Society. I look forward to discussing what perspectives he gained by viewing the expositions from all around the world on that theme! My other passions are hiking, cycling, kayaking, singing '80s karaoke, and traveling, especially to Costa Rica. ¡Pura Vida!
