Purpose:
To practice drawing in the style of a well known artist;
To practice drawing what you see, carefully noting how the artists uses marks to show value changes, volume, and depth
The Essential Question for this exercise was: How do artists use marks to show volume and depth in an image?
In the drawing that I copied my artist I used the scribble technique and pressure of pen to show volume and depth in his drawing. A specific place you can see this is: the outline of the sheep, and the borders between the sheep and the backround, also by the legs and ground.
