reflection\ impact paper:
My unsung hero is Dr. Eugenie Clark, known for her groundbreaking research on marine life and the ocean. I felt drawn to her because I love the ocean and sea creatures and throughout much of my childhood I wanted to study the ocean similar to my hero. I chose her because I felt like she had made many discoveries and changes in the world, I had many ideas on what to paint for her right off the bat. it was challenging to choose what factors to include in my painting and where. One success I had was the small details and designs on my painting i felt like I had captured all of the great changes she made in her time.
After creating this piece of art I felt very connected to my hero dr. Eugenie Clark and all the work she put into marine study, I feel like I learned a lot about her and her studies and achievements throughout her life, I think going into the future I will remember her and perhaps continue with the unsung hero project possibly creating another painting based off a different hero. I enjoyed this project and it had a very positive impact on me and myself as an artist.
