Purpose:
To learn how Levitation is being used in the world of photography;
To make connections from levitation to real-world uses;
To create levitation photographs inspired by other amateur and professional photographers.
One thing I think was a success in creating a levitation photograph was getting rid of the object that I was standing or sitting on, and then blending myself into the background image. I also think I was able to add a shadow in a realistic spot. One challenge was maybe trying to get the whole image to look seamless. I noticed that my body and the background image, specifically the bedroom one, were not the same lighting. So it was difficult to make it look like I was actually there. Another challenge was trying to blend the candles into the background.Â
