We have learned so much from our SL partners, and we are thrilled to be working with you over the 2024-25 school year. Please see below for SL enrollment, consent, and orientation materials.
Please complete the first 3 steps of the onboarding process right away:
Complete the Online SL consent form (for reference only: PDF SL consent form).
Complete the SELOC-E Observer Training registration form.
Email yaleseloc@yale.edu to schedule an orientation session where we can review the 2024-25 enrollment, consent, and data collection processes.
As soon as possible:
Visit the Teacher Recruitment & Consent page and download any materials that you would like to share with full-time K-5 teachers from your school who might be interested in joining the SELOC-E project.
As you identify the teachers who would like to participate by being observed, complete the List of Participating Teachers form to help us keep track of who you'll be working with. Note: you can submit this form more than once, as teachers sign on.
Before you begin classroom observations:
Complete the steps described on the Student Consent Process page.
Complete the steps described on the Other Adults Consent Process page.
Complete the online, asynchronous SELOC-E Observer Training.
Record a test video for each classroom, as described on the Technology Info & Instructions page. Note: please record a test video for one classroom and wait for feedback from the SELOC-E team before continuing.
