At YMS we carry out specific observation assessments at 5, 5.5, 6 and 6.5 years of age.
We pride ourselves in the sharing of the results through dedicated Learning Conversations with the akōnga, their whānau and the teachers.
Resources are also shared at these Learning Conversations to support next steps in the learning and developing of skills. So, together we can focus on continued progress, achievements and successes for all our HERO's!
We also currently share our successes and interests through our class Blog (linked) too!
An exciting tool that is available to all our whānau, is that your child's assessments and goals are shared on their Linc-Ed Hero profile which you will be able to set-up and access once your child is enrolled full-time at YMS.
