On Friday, 12th April, the students of 6th grade explained our project in front of the following audience: the Mayor, a Town Council member, the Education Inspector, the Principal, the Headteacher, the Secretary, the Linguist from Maresme-Vallès Oriental and some teachers.
On Friday, 12th April, the students of 6th grade explained our project in front of the following audience: the Mayor, a Town Council member, the Education Inspector, the Principal, the Headteacher, the Secretary, the Linguist from Maresme-Vallès Oriental and some teachers.
After carrying out the project “The Waste Is In Our Hands!”, we realised we really do have the whole world in our hands...it is up to us to take care of it!

Our school has got some waste containers indoors and outdoors. Unfortunately, we found out they are not being well used. During the project, we talked about the impact of recycling properly all our lifetimes. So, we thought about possible solutions about how to achieve the goal of recycling properly in our school and we chose three of them: To design posters to inform where to bin each type of rubbish, to create interactive games and get recycling bins for all types of waste in each classroom. Our school needs 140 recycling bins, so, we asked the Mayor and the Councillor how they could help us to get them. Luckily, they promised they would provide us with the bins!
