Name
STEM activities to change the environment - STEM US!
Objectives
The three main objectives:
To improve the organisation and management, and to create spaces to manage the STEM resources while fostering students' inclusion.
To initiate the competency-based work throughout STEM methodology.
To promote critical thinking in learning situations close to students' environment focused on the SDGs.
Mobilities
The project involves five activities which represent thirteen mobilities:
Three teacher activities
Two mobilities in a job shadowing format to Pianello Val Tidone, Italy.
Two mobilities in a job shadowing format to Normandy, France.
One mobility in a teaching stay format to Patras, Greece.
Two student activities
Four group mobilities mobilitats to Agazzano, Italy.
Four group mobilities to Normandy, France.
Sustainability throughout time
Once all mobilities are completed, the participants will meet with the Erasmus+ Commission and the Management Team to develop internal school training to transfer what they have learned. Throughout this training, the introduction of the STEM methodology in the school will begin, and agreements can be reached with the entire teaching staff about the changes to be made in the school permanently to improve it.
The training will result in the design of a STEM learning scenario per level and a plan to introduce changes in the short, medium, and long term."
