CICLE INICIAL
Students listen to songs about the planets and try to extract information, relating it to what they already learnt in Catalan.
They also did a craft about the universe.
CICLE MITJÀ
Students watched several videos about constellations and their origins. They also learned about the myths and legends behind different constellations, exploring how ancient cultures used stories to explain the stars in the sky. Each student then created their own constellation model, inspired by these myths and their imagination. The materials needed for the activity were provided and presented through the classroom. We also played the game: “I have, Who has?”
CICLE SUPERIOR
Students worked in pairs using selected National Geographic websites related to the Universe. Each pair chose an interesting fact and wrote a sentence about it on a piece of card. They also created a drawing to illustrate their idea. All the contributions were then combined into a collaborative mind map displayed in their own “Quadern de Pitagoras”. The websites and videos used for the activity were shared through Classroom.
