castles IN THE MIDDLE AGES
October 2021. Our 2 ESO students have taken a practical class on the Middle Ages analyzing the importance of castles by playing a game of strategy.
DESIGN YOUR OWN COAT OF ARMS
October 2021. This week, second-grade students have learned the history of coats of arms. They have also learned the Heraldic code and all its hidden meanings. After that, they created their coats of arms! Finally, a display has been conducted so all the students could enjoy it.

història de la catapulta 2.0
February 2021. 2nd and 3rd ESO students have learned the basics of the catapult (trebutchet) and have been able to experiment with various functional models made to scale, including the famous catapult designed by Leonardo da Vinci. They have also known the equipment of a 16th- century infantryman.
HAVE FUN BUILDING A CATAPULT!
Building catapults is an Engineering challenge, where students learn the basics of history machines and learn physics and maths.
This semester, the second-grade students have faced up to this challenge with great success.
After they have built their catapults, they tested them side-by-side and one at a time.
The teacher measured the distance and has seen which catapult design launches the farthest.
Finally, the students displayed all the designs created last week.
ARCHERY IN THE MIDDLE AGES
Novembre 2020. This week, 1st and 2nd level ESO students have learned the fundamentals of historical archery. We have carried out a practical activity where three bows have been tested: a Palaeolithic bow, a longbow and a short bow. They have enjoyed a lot!
