How can we help the refugees?
The project includes key knowledge, understanding and success skills... Encourage critical thinking by presenting the conflict in Syria and the subsequent migratory movement of refugees. It is a collaborative project since ideas are shared to help the refugees and later the two schools get in touch to gather more help and learn about a real case. The project is based on a challenging problem, one of the most significant problems of the 21st century.
The project involves an active, in-depth process over time, in fact, continuity is assured and its real application allow s more and more resources leading to develope their own answers. Authenticity and its real application is one of the main characteristics of this project, the possibilities are thousands a nd any help is welcome, from the collection of material and money for NGOs to the dissemination of the project by other institutes or schools. student voice and choice are easily visible since decisions have been taken by consensus. Reflection is another strong point of this project, not only at the end of it, on immigration policy, dictatorships, huma nitarian aid, country treaties... CRITIQUE & REVISION are important too, good examples are the rubrics that are presented to students, including self and co-assessment.
Finally we can say that it is a public product since with the presentation of the campaign to the Auro high school, its diffusion is extended.
