We start the day with a reading activity in their mother tongue. Rubatta and Marta tell us a story. Rubatta reads an excerpt in Urdu and Marta reads it in Italian. They read the whole story. Ali and Marta do the same but in Arabic and Italian and Alex and Lucca do it in English and Italian. The stories read are fables with a moral conclusion that leads to dialogue. They look for points of connection with both languages.
The second activity consists of a folktale contest. They make two groups randomly. Each group has to think of 5 questions related to folk tales known for all of them. A representative of the group goes out and with the help of his classmates he has to answer the questions they ask him. The students are very demanding with the answers, when they do not agree, they look for the solution in the book that is in the library.
After the break we go to an art session. The students create a book of a very popular legend of the area.
